Knights in Divine Service (K.I.D.S.) Program
The Truth In The Spirit is dedicated to empowering youth because
their experiences and gifts fill in gaps in the community as we work
to create places in which people may live life in its fullest measure.
It is a mistake to have young people wait until they become adults
to serve God and their communities; by then, they have had ample
opportunity to choose unhealthy behaviors. For communities to
be prosperous, healthy and safe, young people must be intricately
involved. Once on fire for the Messiah and trained for service,
their potential is limitless because they experience a higher degree
of spiritual freedom and exhibit pure love. They bring an innocence
and cultural appreciation that older generations do not possess. It
is young people who will tear down the dividing walls, step into
the next level of faith and take back our cities, not when they
become adults, but now in their youth.

Raising K.I.D.S. is a training program for parents to help guide and
strengthen them as they raise their children to be Knights In Divine
Service. This program consists of training sessions for the parents of
youth in KIDS but also is also available for other parents in the
community. If you would like help raising a young person who is on fire
for God and knows how to use his/her gifts for His glory, contact us to
receive this training. Raising KIDS training is based upon the following
Scriptures:
Psalm 127:3-5, Deut. 4:9 & 6:4-9, Malachi 1:6, Ephesians 6:1 & 6:4,
Proverbs 22:6 & 13:24

Knights in Divine Service (KIDS) empowers the Joshua generation today, so that the
community can benefit from the moves of God among the youth, in the present, while preparing
them to take their places in the future. The Truth In The Spirit works with school-age youth in
peer groups based upon their needs, goals and interests in serving. These young people serve in
various ways, such as participating in community associations, teaching, peer mentoring,
motivational speaking, inspirational dancing, singing and acting, etc. Additionally, they are
missionaries in their local community. We plan to train youth in various outside organizations as
well to serve in leadership roles within their communities.
The KIDS Program provides the following services:
• Individual development plans
• Adult mentoring and peer mentoring
• Character development
• Creative expression
KIDS is based upon the following Scriptures:
2 Corinthians 10:4-6, Psalms 8:2, 1 Timothy 4:12, Luke 10:21, Isaiah 11:6

from 11:00 am to 12 noon in Room 201 (upstairs to the left) of World Outreach
Worship Center at 1233 Shields Road in Newport News, VA 23608. Come any
Saturday with your child/youth to register. However, there will be no K.I.D.S.
Program meetings on Saturdays that follow a Friday on which Newport News
Public Schools were closed or dismissed early. Contact us for more information.
