In 2008, The Truth In The Spirit hosted
four worship events at King-Lincoln Park
in Newport News, VA called

"Praise Parties in the Park"

Many different churches and organizations were
involved, but no matter who ministered, we always
worshipped God in spirit and in truth!
Meeting Community Needs

At each event, we gave away free food and clothing.  
On Labor Day (the day before school opened), we even
gave away school supplies and book bags.
Kids, Kids, Kids

The young people had a great time at each event.  They
even blessed us by singing, dancing and rapping.  After
some of the events, Prophetess Smith began to teach the
youth to worship.
